G. Somashekara Reddy

G. Somashekara Reddy is a member (MLA) of the Vidhan Sabha of Karnataka representing the Bellary assembly constituency of Karnataka and is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) political party. He is also the chairman of Karnataka Milk Federation.[1] He is a member of a family which owns the Obulapuram Mining Company with iron ore mining interests in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh and has been facing allegations of illegal mining in forest lands. Other members of this family including G. Karunakara Reddy, G. Janardhana Reddy are significant actors in the Government of Karnataka[2][3]
